1. St James’ Church Services –
July
Services at St James’ Church
during July will be held at the following times:
- Sunday 1st: Morning Praise, 10.30am (with Joanna Williams)
- Sunday 8th: Holy Communion, 10.30am (with Revd Claire Lording)
- Sunday 15th: Morning Praise, 10.30am (with Revd Alma Organ)
- Sunday 22nd: Holy Communion, 9.00am (with Ven. Chris Liley)
- Sunday 29th Benefice Eucharist, 10.30am (with Revd Claire Lording)
The service on 29th July is for the whole Benefice (i.e. Pershore
Abbey, St Mary’s, Wick, and St Nicholas, Pinvin) and it is being held at this
time in our church to celebrate the Feast of St
James.

2. Cuppa & Chat, Wednesday 4th
July
The next Cuppa & Chat will
take place on Wednesday 4th July from 3.00pm to 4.30pm. It will be a special
Wimbledon-themed Cream Tea with a complimentary glass of Pimms and also a
charity raffle. It will be an ideal opportunity to discuss the merits of the
2018 Wimbledon competitors with friends old and new.
All are welcome,
especially families new to the village. Cost is £2 per head and it is always
held on the first Wednesday of every month. For more information please contact

3. Wood by Church for
Collection
There is a large pile of
wood for collection by the church.
Donations to church funds are welcome
– please put in the wall collection safe inside the
church.

Wychavon District Council has sent us information about
potential problems during the current heat wave.
