As autumn approaches, Western Power
Distribution, our electricity suppliers, have filled us with confidence by
sending us a booklet entitled ‘Preparing for a Power Cut or Emergency – How to
Prepare Yourself and Your Family’.
-------------------------------------------------------
Thank you to everyone who checked their broadband
speeds and sent us the results. Current speeds seem fairly consistent throughout
the village, with slight improvements during the evening. Almost all download
speeds were in the range 6.3 to 7.7 Mbps, with the vast majority of upload
speeds being 0.37 Mbps.
We will test the speeds again when Superfast Broadband is available in the
next few weeks.
