Bishop Graham has written to the village outlining his plans to meet
parishioners across the northern half of Pershore Deanery over the weekend of
16th–17th August. He realises that the timing could be better, but as the
diary is bursting at the seams these dates are the only ones available.
Bishop Graham is new to the Diocese and joins us as we lose our own vicar,
Kenneth Crawford, who took up his new parish in July. Bishop Graham invites
anyone, whether they are involved with the parish’s worshipping life or not, to
join him in prayer and talk, and to raise issues and questions that are
important to life in the parish and the Deanery. Bishop Graham will be walking
between some of the parishes in the Deanery; unfortunately Birlingham is not one
of them but Birlingham parishioners will be very welcome to join him at any
point throughout his timetable. The timetable is available at
www.birlingham.org/docs/bishop_graham.pdf.
